This beautiful, newly listed 5 x Bedroom, 2 x Bathroom, Pet Friendly, waterfront home which oozes rustic charm and is just waiting for you to come and enjoy all it has to offer. The ambiance of the home is one of peace and tranquility. It is ideally located for the morning sun, whilst sheltered from the heat of the day by its aspect and the beneficial protection of a mature river gum. Sweeping views along the length of a tree- lined cul-de-sac arm of the Murray Lakes Canals, there is easy access to the river from your own private jetty.
The Indoor Space
The house is decorated with brand new ‘Hamptons style” furniture and adds a bright, fresh beachy feel. The gorgeous kitchen looks on to beautiful tree lined water views and provides plenty of modern conveniences, including coffee machine and a lovely 8 seater dining table.
Downstairs, the huge main bedroom has Queen bed with large walk in robe and ensuite. There is also a nursery room right next to the main bedroom, complete with cot and change table. The other wing of the house consists of 3 great sized double bedrooms (one with own kitchenette, 2 of these rooms provide Queen size beds and the other has a bunk with double bed on the bottom and single on top.
Plenty of family board games have been provided and DVD player, with large range of family movies and 2 large 55cm Smart TV’s are also available for your entertainment.
There is also very large “loft style” room upstairs where you will find another double couch that folds down to provide 2 more beds and is the perfect “getaway” for the older kids.
The Outdoor Space
The Wisteria covered pergola, shaded decking and sheltered aspect of this home provide a welcome retreat in summer, and under eaves deck allows year-round use. With its spa, jetty and easy access to the water, this is a home designed to make optimal use of its exceptional location.
For your outdoor dining experience, there is a large outdoor verandah with an 8 seater table, complete with outdoor heater, lots of warm fluffy blankets to wrap yourself in on those chilly nights and a large, range hood BBQ and crab cooker. Enjoy the views of the dolphins, pelicans and ducks and our resident Swan family, who come to visit regularly.
The relaxing resort style spa, set privately located amongst the trees, provides a perfect escape. A glass fence along front of grassed area will protect little ones from getting down to the water. Spa has lockable cover for added protection.
There are three Kayaks provided during your stay to explore the waterways with or perhaps catch crabs, when in season to bring back and cook in the crab cooker.
Sit on your own personal jetty and throw a line out for a feed of Bream or even the occasional Mackerel.
Entertainment
If you bring your boat, be certain to cruise down the river to some of the local restaurants and hotels in the area – or the “Sandy Cove” Tavern is only a 200 metre walk down the road and offers great meals at a good price.
